INTENSE is really the only way to describe this action-packed but deeply romantic conclusion. If you’ve read the first two books in the series (which is an absolute MUST to enjoy this conclusion), you already have an idea of just what Dangerous Games entails. It’s an extremely satisfying but intensely dark ride that picks up where the last book left off and keeps your heart racing until the very end. If you’ve stuck around this long, you probably don’t need the trigger warning but things have to get worse before they can get better and you should know that going in.
I will not be sharing any details of the storyline; this really cannot be read as a standalone and if you’ve read the first two it needs no explanation. I will says that this has been a fantastic series. I’ve always enjoyed Geissinger’s books but this series has been extremely entertaining. It’s dark and emotional with a major element of suspense but the connection between Naz and Eva makes it all worth the journey. And if Geissinger doesn’t write Killian or Doc’s books next, I will be VERY disappointed.

Dark Romantic Suspense
Jeeves’ Top 19 of 2019 Selection
When I realized that the hero in the Dangerous Beauty trilogy was featured in the Bad Habit series, I knew that I had to give this trilogy a read. I’m not usually someone who loves trilogies, but this series was so action-packed and engrossing that there was never a dull moment. This is where Geissinger’s writing started to get darker and more suspense-focused, and it serves as the introduction to some characters from later series. It’s less steamy than her current books and more about the connection between our couple and their fight to be together.
The trilogy itself completely stands on its own, but longtime fans will appreciate some of the connections that are made in this series. You’ll probably also have a different experience reading Beautifully Cruel if you’ve read this trilogy first, though you definitely don’t have to. The trilogy was featured on my Top 19 of 2019 list, so you know that I loved it!
