⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Quick, sexy/sweet read

Falling For Her

With a blend of sweetness and steam, this short novella is easily read in an hour or so but tells a complete story that will leave you smiling. Tory Baker’s books always feature the sweetest alphas who are a little overprotective, determined to get what they want, and focused solely on their girl. Falling For Her wastes no time getting our couple together, but Levi has been waiting years to claim his girl and there’s nothing holding him back now.

The story follows Peyton, a young woman who returns home after her father passes away. She’s inherited a horse ranch and would love to stay involved in the business in a small way, but is ready to sell the rest of the property. When Levi steps in with an offer to buy, they hash out the details while falling for each other along the way. Levi has known for a long time that Peyton is the girl he wants, but he’s been biding his time until it’s the right moment. Now that there’s nothing standing in their way, he’s ready to prove that he’s all in with her.

The writing is solid and the story moves quickly, at a speed that could definitely be considered insta-love if these two didn’t already have history. It’s an older man/younger woman story, so Levi is perhaps a little controlling over their relationship but it’s all in an effort to prove his love. There’s plenty of steam here, but done in a way that’s not over the top. The length of the novella doesn’t allow for a ton of depth to the story, but we get to keep up with these two every step of the way. If you’re looking for a quick, sexy read that still has plenty of sweetness, this won’t disappoint.
