15 Romance Series to Start Bingeing Now

Have a little extra free time on your hands? Start reading one of these series today and the hours will fly by. They’re all addictive, engrossing, and well written with characters you’ll want more of. From sports romances to rom coms to emotional reads, there’s something for every mood. I’ve leaned heavier on the light romances this time, because we all need a little happiness in our lives right now. And the best part? Several of these are ongoing, so there will be more for you to love in the future.

I’ve included links to the Kindle editions so you can read the descriptions of each there and add them to your collection with ease.

Game On Series by Kristen Callihan

Kristen Callihan is one of my go-to authors… and that’s because of this series. Standalone sports romances with heart and steam, these focus on the connection and chemistry between the characters, with a light feel and touches of angst that make them easy to devour. My personal favorites are The Hot Shot and The Friend Zone, but you can’t go wrong with this series. If you’re looking for something a little heavier and more emotional, check out her VIP series of rock star romances.

Loveless Brothers Series by Roxie Noir

Light and SEXY, these rom coms feature brothers with very different personalities. Each one is a play on a different trope, from enemies to lovers to brother’s best friend. They are steamy but also have such good dialogue, banter, and chemistry. My favorite is the friends to lovers/single dad/fake relationship romance, Best Fake Fiancé. This series is nearing its end, so it’s the perfect time to get caught up.

Lucky in Love Series by Lauren Blakely

You can’t go wrong with a book by Lauren Blakely – she is a master at light and fun romances that bring the sexy. I’ve read and loved many books by her, but the series that stands out for me is Lucky in Love. These all easily read as standalones but pair better together, with characters who are easily to like, banter, and unique storylines. If I had to choose, I’d say that Best Laid Plans and Unzipped are my favorites of this group.

Dogwood Lane Series by Adriana Locke

Mixing playfulness with angst, this series is all about complicated relationships. Set in a small town, there are interconnected characters, but each one easily stands on its own. Locke is so good at creating chemistry that sparks off the page, so there’s no way you won’t be rooting for these couples even when there are obstacles in the way to their happiness. They’re all really good, but Tangle is my personal favorite.

Anyone But Series by Penelope Bloom

Looking for something that’s over the top fun? You’ve found it here. This quirky rom com series showcases what Bloom does best: COMEDY. They’re low angst, light, and playful with characters you both want to roll your eyes at and hug (or possibly tug into the bedroom). Though there is steam, the focus is on the humor, making these stories fly by. Each one features a billionaire brother trying to win over the girl who got away, and you can’t go wrong with any of them.

Mile High Matched Series by Christina Hovland

If you’ve already read Penelope Bloom’s rom coms, then let me introduce you to Christina Hovland, another master at romantic comedy. Her books are full of personality, light with depth that sneaks up on you, and characters you’ll fall for right away. The first three books are out now, with the fourth on the way, so it’s a good time to get caught up. Blow Me Away and Take it Off the Menu were really great, so I’m looking forward to reading more from this series.

Hot Jocks Series by Kendall Ryan

Sports romances that take the steam up a notch, the Hot Jocks series is for those looking for something SEXY. These heroes are players on and off the ice, so the books are scotching hot, but there’s depth and emotion there as well. I’ve got to get caught up before the final two books in the series release, because Down and Dirty will probably be making my Best of March list.

Heroes of Heart’s Edge Series by Nicole Snow

If suspense is more your style, then Nicole Snow is your girl. Her books are a combination of romance and action, where the love stories stand on their own but the suspense ties the series together. They’re slow burns that get smoking hot later on, and the heroes are all growly, moody alphas who will frustrate you before they win you over. The newest, No Damaged Goods, is probably the easiest to read as a standalone and is my favorite of the series so far.

Hard to Love Series by P. Dangelico

I can’t recommend P. Dangelico’s books enough, and this series is the one that started my love for her work. They’re angsty, tension-filled reads that will have you turning the pages until the very end, with heroes who are, well, hard to love, and heroines who are strong enough to put up with them. Wrecking Ball remains my favorite but from her, but if new adult romance is more your style, check out her Malibu University series, which have a similar feel but in a college setting.

Slow Burn Series by J.T. Geissinger

Geissinger writes everything from rom coms to romantic suspense – and tackles each genre with skill. I was first introduced to her work with the Slow Burn series, each standing completely on its own but having a similar vibe. They’re sexy and light, with great banter and chemistry that builds with the slow burn in each. She also has an intense, action-filled trilogy out, Dangerous Games, that is well worth a read. Or if you’re looking for something EXTRA steamy and very angsty, check out her Bad Habit series of rock star romances.

The Dumonts Series by Karina Halle

This trilogy just wrapped up and is most definitely worth a read. Featuring one complicated French family, touches of suspense, and characters who walk a fine line between good and bad, these will hold your interest. Discretion is not my favorite, but it introduces the family that’s central to the storylines of Disarm and Disavow, which are some of the best books I’ve read in a long time.

Chick Flick Club Series by Lila Monroe

If you want pure rom com goodness that plays off some beloved movies of years past, then check out these quick and light reads. They feature a group of friends, but stand on their own, and are easy to devour in one sitting. They’re low angst, playful, and filled with some solid banter. You can’t go wrong with any of them. If fake relationships are more your style, check out Monroe’s Billionaire Bachelors series for more rom com fun.

Interconnected Standalones from Meghan Quinn

While not *technically* a series, these three books feature friends as they meet and fall in love. The romances easily stand alone, but you’ll have a lot more fun reading if you’re familiar with the guys ahead of time – and all three books are EXCELLENT. Light and sexy with touches of angst, these have some distinctive humor but know when to bring the emotion. I can’t pick a favorite of this group, that changes daily.

How to Date a Douchebag Series by Sara Ney

New adult romances featuring heroes who are works in progress, this series showcases Ney’s talent for writing banter. Her dialogue is fantastic, her romances light and playful, and her heroes are lovable jerks you can’t help but like. Each book in the series has a slightly different vibe, and you won’t have any problems reading them out of order. The first two are probably my favorites, but they’re all good.

Oxford Series by Lauren Layne

I’ve read almost every book Layne has written, but the series that stands out for me is this one. Featuring different employees who work at an NYC magazine, they have a distinctly modern, city feel, but also embrace the tropes we know and love. You can read them out of order, but the characters make plenty of appearances in other books, so you might give yourself a few spoilers if you do. My personal favorites are Irresistibly Yours and I Knew You Were Trouble, but they’re all sexy, fun reads.
