Next week isn’t quite as busy as this week, but there are some GOOD books on the way! I’m looking forward to sitting down with a few of these ARCs because there are some releases I’m pretty excited about. There’s a little something for everyone! Take a peek at the blurbs below to see what’s coming next week.
Releases April 27th
Be on the lookout for a SNEAK PEEK at My Favorite Souvenir tomorrow!!!! I’ve got an excerpt to share (the whole first chapter!) that’s got me excited to read the full book – as if I wasn’t already! This one sounds like a sexy slow burn and I can’t wait to read it.
From New York Times best-selling authors Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland comes a new, sexy stand-alone novel.
My planned trip for two unexpectedly turned into a trip for one. Rather than let my breakup get me down, I packed my bags and decided a week at a luxury resort was just what I needed. But one calamity after the next, and suddenly I was stuck without a hotel room, along with a few hundred other people. It looked like my fancy vacation was about to turn into me sleeping on the hotel lobby floor. Until I overheard a gorgeous man pretending to be someone he wasn’t in order to steal a reservation from a guest who hadn’t shown up yet.
When I realized there were two rooms, instead of calling him out, I pretended to be his sister. That’s how the story of “Milo and Maddie Hooker” began. We were the Hookers. My depressing trip quickly made a U-turn into an adventure. My fake brother spent the next few days showing me around his hometown. When it was time to leave, neither of us really wanted to go yet.
So, instead of flying back to our respective homes, we ventured on a road trip. At every stop, we’d pick up souvenirs. But as hot as our chemistry was, we never crossed the line. Milo knew I’d just come out of a tough relationship and didn’t want to mess with a vulnerable woman. So instead, at the end of our trip, we made a pact to meet again in three months. It was always my intention to meet him. But when I got back home, reality hit in a big way. And I worried I may have lost my handsome stranger forever.
Was there a place for him in my future? Or had the memory of him just become my favorite souvenir?

This was my first time reading a book by Priscilla Oliveras and… it was great! It’s a low angst read with likable characters and a romance that’s sweet and a little bit serious. I was surprised by how much depth the author was able to give the relationship, and look forward to reading more from her in the future. This one is pretty understated and relatively clean, so it’s probably not for everyone, but I enjoyed it a whole lot. Full review to come on release day!
USA Today bestselling author Priscilla Oliveras launches a new romantic comedy series set in Key West, Florida and filled with humor, Latinx culture, and fun family dynamics perfect for summer beach reading…

I love Piper Lawson’s writing – she excels at emotional reads that have sizzling chemistry. This rock star romance is the start of a trilogy, so be prepared for a cliffhanger! The prequel novella is out now (and FREE at the moment!), so be sure to grab that if you want to get a feel for Lawson’s writing and the dynamics of this relationship.

When I met Tyler Adams, we were worlds apart.
I was rich, he was poor.
I was plain, he was beautiful.
I ached for the spotlight, he made his music in the dark.
Yet he looked at me in a way my rock star father and rich, snobby classmates never did: like I mattered.
I never saw it coming.
When Tyler moved in with us to work with my dad and attend Oakwood Prep, he seduced my enemies and claimed their crown.
He betrayed my friendship and crushed my heart to become their rebel prince.
They can keep him.
I’ll never forgive the boy I used to ache for.
But some nights…
…He makes me want to.
A Love Song for Liars is Book 1 in the angsty, emotional Rivals trilogy. Fans of forbidden, bully, academy and rock star romance will love this new series.

If you’re looking for something a little lighter, then this fake relationship romance is the winner of the week! I’ve been meaning to check out Annika Martin’s books for a while now, and the premise of this one sounds like so much fun. I’ll be reading my ARC tomorrow so a full review will be coming after it releases!
I’m no Prince Charming, and the last thing I want is a Cinderella.
My instructions were simple: scour the city for a fake fiancée who’s not my type at all. Have her on my jet Monday morning, dressed appropriately for a yacht vacation.
I need a woman believable enough to convince a certain client that I’ve changed my playboy ways…yet totally opposite from the supermodels and socialites I usually have on my arm.
Somebody too annoying to tempt me–no emotional entanglements, thank you very much. This is business only.
If she’s unfazed by my looks and wealth, all the better.
Should be easy. Right?
Apparently not, because my people go and hire Tabitha. My hairdresser.
What were they thinking? Yes, I said annoying, but I didn’t mean Tabitha, the most frustrating woman in the world.
Tabitha is bubbly. She has a pet hamster. She loves Hello Kitty, and she gets under my skin like nobody else.
As if that’s not bad enough, the minute we step on deck, she thinks that certain people on the yacht are up to something shady–based completely on her soap opera knowledge.
She won’t listen when I tell her she’s being ridiculous.
But as the days go by, I find that we’re actually having fun. And our fake kisses are heating up. And suddenly her wild theories aren’t sounding so strange after all…

I’ve already read this one, and I know I liked it. It’s an opposites attract romance that pairs a cynic and a romantic as they help plan a wedding. Probst is a solid writer, so this semi-serious romance is an interesting blend of light and emotional. The hero was a little overbearing, but I loved the growth of intimacy and depth of the story.
True love is in the details for the Jersey shore’s premier wedding planner in this heart-swooning series about big dreams and happy endings from New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Probst.
Avery Sunshine might not have a soul mate of her own, but she still believes in happily ever after—for her clients. Making dreams come true is her business at Sunshine Bridal, which she runs with her two sisters. When her best friend announces her engagement, Avery is thrilled to take charge of the giddy bride-to-be’s big day. Less thrilling? Her best friend’s arrogant and demanding brother, who just so happens to be the man of honor.
Carter Ross’s first instinct: call 911. He promised to always take care of his impulsive little sister, and he honors that vow. Even if it means taking over her wedding, where he is sure Avery will fail. At best, Avery is unpredictable. At worst, if she’s anything like the spitfire of a college girl he remembers, the main event could run wild.
With Avery and Carter wrestling for control, tempers heat up. So does the spark of attraction they’re fighting with every kiss. As the wedding draws near, it’s time to reconcile a rocky past and make a decision that could change everyone’s lives. Because what they’re rebelling against looks a lot like love.
