Finding love at a mature age has never been so sexy! I’ve been meaning to check out T. Gephart’s quirky rom coms for awhile now, and this was such a fun read. I loved this hero with a heart of gold – it was easy to see that he’s a great catch, and so endearing that he’s the one fighting for more. It’s steamy throughout with a light, low angst feel that brings the heart as well as the humor.

One Click Love pairs a 45-year-old fire chief with a 42-year-old woman whose divorce was recently finalized. They’ve both been burned by love before (firefighter pun intentional), and are shy of starting up a real relationship. What starts as a hookup via an app quickly turns into so much more, and these two have to navigate the complexities of finding love after divorce.

This had the exact tone I was hoping for (light and sexy with a little bit of humor) but took a storyline path that I didn’t expect. When I hear “One Click Love,” I expect there to be more online interaction, and it was extremely minimal. There was definitely a level of disappointment for me about that, but the story quickly made up for it. It had less humor and more heart than anticipated, but was such an uplifting read. Mack makes the perfect hero, and his love for Hayden was evident right away. Every time I thought Hayden’s insecurities were starting to bring the story down, Mack would break through her walls and turn it into something heartwarming. I’m definitely intrigued by some of the other characters who were introduced – though part of a series, this easily reads as a standalone, but will make you want to pick up the other books. Looking forward to seeing what’s next from this author! I received an ARC via Candi Kane PR and am voluntarily leaving a review of this steamy rom com.
