⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ REVIEW: Only One Kiss by Natasha Madison

A definite slow burn to SIZZLE, this light and sexy sports romance has got some drama but never gets too heavy. I loved the hero; he is such a good guy and so adorable to watch with his new daughter. It’s always so refreshing to read about a hero who is just genuinely good and intent on one woman, and that’s exactly the case here. The story moves quickly – probably a little too quickly at times – and it’s easy to read in one sitting. It’s a solid start to a promising new series, and introduces intriguing new characters.

The story follows Ralph, a new father. Everyone he speaks to is heartbroken by his story – father to a brand new baby, and his longtime girlfriend died during childbirth. But there’s more to the story that eats Ralph up inside. When he meets social media manager Candace, there’s an immediate connection between them. Candace has always wanted kids, so a sexy single dad and his adorable daughter are like catnip to her – even if common sense tells her not to get involved with a client. But as the two get closer, crossing the line seems inevitable.

I really liked both of these characters and just how uncomplicated the romance is. Yes, there’s the push/pull of them each resisting the attraction, but there’s no real angst to the story. The book is pretty short so subjects are touched upon but not delved into too deeply. That’s also probably my biggest complaint – it’s so short that the relationship develops at lightning speed. I found a few of the tonal shifts to be jarring, like the sudden acceleration of their feelings and then the over the top feel of the steamy scenes. Not that I want to drown in angst, but the resolution of their conflict was SO FAST that the turnaround seemed completely unrealistic. Overall, I liked it and look forward to more from the series. I received a free copy via Wildfire Marketing and am voluntarily leaving a review of this sweet yet sexy read.

From USA Bestseller Natasha Madison comes a brand new Hockey series The Only One.

Being traded to Dallas was a dream come true. I had everything I wanted, my game had never been better, and my wife was due to have our baby any day now.

What could go wrong?

I was now raising our baby on my own. After hockey practice and games, I didn’t have time to sleep, let alone make sure my social media was up to par.

I never thought I’d get a second chance at love.

When my hotshot brother was drafted in the NHL, he didn’t have time to do his social media, so I took over for him. Little did I know it would become my career.

My plate was full with over fifty NHL players, and I wasn’t taking on any new clients.

Yet when he showed up on my doorstep with the cutest little girl in the whole world, I couldn’t say no.

I was just helping, but it turned into more than that. He’s the man I’ve been waiting for.

All it takes is one touch, one night, one chance, and only one kiss.
