COVER REVEAL: The Strike Out by Meghan Quinn

This cover model looks young, and that’s a good thing – because this hero had better stay young in this book! I love Meghan Quinn’s writing, but this series has been plagued by romance-killing time jumps. Nothing ruins a great book faster than a multi-year separation, especially if OW/OM are involved, and that’s been the case with several books in this series. She’s still one of my favorite authors, but, at this point, I’ve got a whole lot of hesitation every time I start reading a book in this series.

The good news? Fans of the series will recognize this hero, and we already know pieces of his love story. I’ve got my fingers crossed that this is going to be great, because when Quinn gets it right, she hits it out of the park. Get all of the details about The Strike Out below – it releases on January 4th!

It started with one night out with the boys.

She was the hot diner waitress putting herself through school.

I was the rich, arrogant player everyone misjudges.

On paper we didn’t match.

Yet all it took was one day. One single day to change her mind.

She wasn’t planning to spend her day off with me.

She wasn’t supposed to fall for my charm.

But one day, one smile, turned into several nights of her calling out my name.

I’m not the guy she should end up with. I’m jealous, possessive. Not here for a long time – just a good time.

She’s changed me.

But, for some reason, I feel her slipping through my fingers and no matter what I do, I fear I’m going to strike out with the one and only girl I’ve ever fallen for.

While I don’t personally offer an enthusiastic recommendation of The Locker Room, Holt does play a pretty significant role in the story – and we get some details about his relationship. I skimmed through it again once I learned that he’s the hero, and we learn some very interesting tidbits. Grab it on Amazon:

If you’re one of the people who purchased the Team Player 2 anthology awhile back, the beginning of this story is included. It’s no longer available for sale, but I just so happen to have a copy, and I checked it out recently. This heroine is sure to give Holt a run for his money, and the dynamic is interesting. Not Quinn’s usual, let’s put it that way.
