The 8 March Releases I’m Most Excited About

March brings so many exciting releases, with new books by some of my favorite authors as well as a few whose work I’m just getting acquainted with. There are plenty of books that I’m looking forward to reading, but these are the eight that I want to devour as soon as possible. Whether they’re written by an author whose past work makes any new releases one-click worthy or feature a blurb that sounds particularly enticing, these are my most anticipated March releases.

And in case you’re wondering why it’s 8 and not 10, the answer is that two of my most anticipated releases have not formally been announced yet. But let’s just say that there are a couple of other rom coms coming that I am very excited about!

Want to know more about the books that are releasing in March? You can check out my complete March release calendar here.

Jeeves’ Thoughts: This is the fourth and final book in Bromberg’s series of interconnected sports romances, and the other three have all been 5-star reads for me. So you can bet that I am VERY much looking forward to this!

March 30: Hard to Lose by K. Bromberg

New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, returns in the final standalone in the Play Hard world with a sexy war veteran and a sports agent who thinks she’s too busy for love.

It was a simple letter lost in transit. A thank you and an apology received five years too late.

Something about that letter from the baseball pitching phenom turned enlisted soldier, wouldn’t let go of Chase Kincade.

She had to know how his story ended.

Jeeves’ Thoughts: We just found out the release date for XOXO yesterday, and I was super excited to hear it! I love Bladon’s writing, and we got a peek into the romance that will be featured in XOXO during Catch – which was also a great read.

March 12: XOXO by Deborah Bladon

This is how the worst Friday of my life started…

Subject: The Dick

Hey Sinclair,

Mr. Calvetti is as ornery as ever today.

He scolded me for taking a message from a woman who asked me to pass along this to him – “your lips are the purest form of pleasure this side of the Mississippi!”

She may not be a poet, but she is obviously head over heels for him, so I thought I’d play cupid and give him the message.

Dominick (The Dick) Calvetti told me once again to ignore all messages women leave for him.

He’s a cruel bastard with a gorgeous face and rock hard abs. I imagine he has those. He’s 6’3” and works out every morning. He has to be built under those suits, right? I know that the nickname I gave him is based on his attitude, but I sometimes wonder if it “fits” in other ways if you know what I mean. Even if it does, I still loathe him. He’s the worst boss on both sides of the Mississippi.

I attached a picture of the lingerie I bought for my date tonight. I snapped a selfie in the mirror this morning since you were still asleep.

Let me know what you think, roomie.

Arietta xoxo

P.S. Tomorrow we’re getting you a new phone. I miss texting. Emailing is for old people like The Dick.

Subject: Re: The Dick

Miss Voss,

Thank you for your email.

I hardly think 34 is considered old, and for the record, I’m 6’4”.

Details matter. Sending emails to the intended recipient matters more, especially when you include a sensitive image exposing so much of your body.

Also, cancel your date, as you will now be working late tonight.

And report to my office. Immediately.

Signed,
THE DICK

XOXO is not available for preorder, but if you want to read Catch while you wait, you can find my review and links at:

Jeeves’ Thoughts: Three books in this series were contenders for my Top 20 of 2020 list, so you can imagine how excited I am for this! It’s sure to be complex and emotional with plenty of sexual tension.

March 4: Love to Tempt You by J. Saman

Our band’s stunning, untouched new assistant was completely off-limits. But that didn’t stop me.
A car crash. A fake story at the hospital.
She warned me when I dragged her from the nightmare that was her life that she could very well destroy mine.
I didn’t listen. I didn’t care.
I brought her into my home. Into my life. Gave her a job.
My Pandora. A goddess amongst mortals who opened a jar and obliterated my world with her beautiful evils. But from the moment I saw her, I knew she had to be mine.
Consequences be damned.

In a life where getting by is barely a thing, I didn’t expect much.
Until I crashed into him. Literally.
Keith Dawson is a god amongst mortals. A rock star I’ve drooled over for longer than I can remember.
And now the hero of my darkest tales when a hero was the last thing I was looking for.
But a god this powerful always has a fatal flaw. Turns out, she died a long time ago. And there is no living up to the ghosts of his past, right?
So where does that leave us? Well, that’s where this story gets interesting

This is a 98,000 word steamy age-gap forbidden romance with all the feels you crave! Download Love to Tempt You now to read about the sexy alpha drummer of Wild Minds and the fiery woman who brings him to his knees. Can be read as a standalone

Want to dive into the series while you wait? It’s well worth your time!

This series has evolved a little bit over time, and that’s why I recommended that you actually start with book two (Love to Hate Her). Books two and three were originally a standalone duet, but the hero’s brother became a huge part of that story, so the author ended up writing his book (Crazy to Love You), and developed this into a series. I personally have not read Reckless to Love You yet (which is crazy, I need to do so!), but I do know that the heroine from that book made minor appearances in Crazy to Love You and will also be in Love to Tempt You.

You still with me? lol, good! Because all three of the books that I have read from this series have been EXCELLENT. Essentially, Reckless to Love You will read as a standalone – and Love to Tempt You probably will too. However, the other three books should really be read in order. I’ve got links to my reviews for all three below if you’re interested.

Jeeves’ Thoughts: I’ve already read and loved this one! I just finished Float Plan, and I went in with no idea what to expect. It had me tearing up within 5 minutes, and I was swooning by the end. It’s a slow burn with a pretty heavy storyline (this opens with a suicide note) that gets lighter along the way, and won’t be for everyone.

March 2: Float Plan by Trish Doller

* One of OprahMag.com’s Most Anticipated Romances of 2021! *

Heartbroken by the loss of her fiancé, adventurous Anna finds a second chance at love with an Irish sailor in this riveting, emotional romance.

After a reminder goes off for the Caribbean sailing trip Anna was supposed to take with her fiancé, she impulsively goes to sea in the sailboat he left her, intending to complete the voyage alone.

But after a treacherous night’s sail, she realizes she can’t do it by herself and hires Keane, a professional sailor, to help. Much like Anna, Keane is struggling with a very different future than the one he had planned. As romance rises with the tide, they discover that it’s never too late to chart a new course.

In Trish Doller’s unforgettable Float Plan, starting over doesn’t mean letting go of your past, it means making room for your future.

“The perfect escape. Fresh, funny, and romantic. I wish I could sail away with this book.” – Meg Cabot, New York Times bestselling author of The Princess Diaries and Little Bridge series

Jeeves’ Thoughts: I’m so looking forward to this! I’m a big fan of Grey’s work, but actually haven’t reviewed any of her newer books on the blog because… well, she won’t approve me for an ARC! I honestly don’t get it (as far as I can tell, I’m the highest ranked romance reviewer on the entirety of Amazon), but whatever – I stopped trying, and I’ve cleared room in my schedule for this one, so there’s a good chance I’ll have a review up after release day.

March 18: To Have and to Hate by R.S. Grey

Marry a man I barely know to save my family from ruin.
It might’ve been simple, if my betrothed were anybody else.

On our wedding day, my husband-to-be arrived at the courthouse like a black cloud rolling over Manhattan. Walt didn’t crack smiles or pepper in pleasantries as we exchanged hollow vows in front of the judge.

His disdain for me was so palpable I assumed we’d walk out of that ceremony and resume our regularly scheduled programming. But then fate was like, Hold my beer. I got this.

In desperate need of help and with nowhere else to turn, I had no choice but to ignore a crucial rule in our contract: I shall only contact Mr. Jennings II in case of emergency. But hey, what’s a little fine print between husband and wife?

Turns out, Walt’s a stickler for legalese—I think it might be his love language. Oh, and his attitude at the courthouse wasn’t a put-on. My so-called husband is a jerk. He takes what he wants without giving any consideration to other people—specifically ME, his blushing, contractually-obligated bride!

I knew life with Walt would be no honeymoon, but a marriage of any sort should still come with a few standard guarantees:

To have and to hold.
For richer or poorer.
In sickness and in health.

But after experiencing Walt’s version of wedded bliss, I say let’s forget about all that lovey-dovey crap and just take me straight to death do us part.

This isn’t available for preorder, but if you want to check out this author’s rom coms while you wait, my personal favorites are:

Not So Nice Guy: https://amzn.to/3bIRHng (Friends to lovers/co-workers)
Arrogant Devil: https://amzn.to/3r1CHaq (Angsty-ish enemies to lovers)

Jeeves’ Thoughts: This is supposed to be a big and beefy small town romance, and I’m loving the sounds of it! I love the author’s smoking hot rom coms, and this should be a good read. I don’t have an ARC – I just haven’t seen a signup – so I’m hoping to have a review up after release day, as long as the length doesn’t get to me, lol!

March 4: Forever Never by Lucy Score

You don’t fall for your brother’s high school sweetheart, your boss’s daughter, or your ex-wife’s best friend. Especially when they’re all the same woman.

Under Brick Callan’s mile-wide chest beats a loyal heart with a few cracks in it. He’s the steadfast, overprotective type. Especially when it comes to the one woman he can never have. It’s a long, complicated history punctuated by fights, friendship, family, and an attraction that strains his iron willpower.

When Remi Ford returns to Mackinac Island in the dead of winter with a secret, Brick makes it his mission to find out what put the shadows in those green eyes. Even if it means breaking down the walls he’s built between them. Even if it means falling for the one girl he’ll never get over.

The free-spirited artist just needs to lay low for a few weeks so she can figure a way out of this nightmare. She’s definitely not staying. Not when the man who broke her teenage heart into splinters keeps showing up at her parents’ dinner table. Remi doesn’t need broody, bearded Brick riding to her rescue…again. Not when it will put them both in danger, costing them much more than their hearts.

Author’s Note: Frenemies-to-lovers. Opposites attract. Slow burn. Girl in danger. Glorious, glorious banter. Fighting as foreplay. Small-town shenanigans. Big, grumpy, pining, overprotective hero. Wild-child, trouble-finding heroine who keeps on pushing the hero’s buttons. Steam Level: Lava. Suspense: Nail-biting. Feels: Big time.

Jeeves’ Thoughts: I’m loving the sound of this blurb and I’ve been meaning to try the author’s work, so this seems like the perfect one to start with! I love a good fake relationship, and adding in some history to the mix works for me.

March 16: The Dating Plan by Sara Desai

Even with a step-by-step plan, these fake fiancés might accidentally fall for each other in this hilarious, heartfelt romantic comedy from the author of The Marriage Game.

Daisy Patel is a software engineer who understands lists and logic better than bosses and boyfriends. With her life all planned out, and no interest in love, the one thing she can’t give her family is the marriage they expect. Left with few options, she asks her childhood crush to be her decoy fiancé.

Liam Murphy is a venture capitalist with something to prove. When he learns that his inheritance is contingent on being married, he realizes his best friend’s little sister has the perfect solution to his problem. A marriage of convenience will get Daisy’s matchmaking relatives off her back and fulfill the terms of his late grandfather’s will. If only he hadn’t broken her tender teenage heart nine years ago…

Sparks fly when Daisy and Liam go on a series of dates to legitimize their fake relationship. Too late, they realize that very little is convenient about their arrangement. History and chemistry aren’t about to follow the rules of this engagement.

Jeeves’ Thoughts: We got a peek at this couple in the prequel (details below), and I’m very curious to see where the story leads. It’s the first book in a brand new series, so I am definitely excited to get a feel for the vibe.

March 30: The Rebel by Kendall Ryan

Holt

Six years ago, Eden barged into my life and turned everything upside down.

We spent one scorching-hot night together, and then she disappeared into the sunset with the golden jock everyone adored. Which makes sense, right? A girl as beautiful and brilliant as Eden Wynn doesn’t end up with a rebel like me.

I expected them to live happily ever after, but that’s not what happened. She’s back in my life—and tempting me like no one else has. And while I’m certain I’ll only tarnish her shine, I want her.

I’d heard the old notion that one night held the power to change everything. I just never believed it.

Until now.

Eden

I’m public enemy number one.

Turns out, the East Coast is protective of their hockey team and very vocal about not wanting a young female owner. Well, too bad, because this team is all Grandpa Wynn left me, and I have no intention of walking away.

Enter my new head of security, Holt Rossi. My history with him is . . . complicated. Chemistry reignites between us while the world waits for me to stumble.

He’s supposed to protect me—but who will protect my heart from him?

Warning: This romance contains one growly, broken hero; a bunch of rowdy hockey players; and a smart, hardworking heroine whose life hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. This is a no-cheating, scorching-hot love story with a guaranteed HEA.
