I’m excited about this one! I love Karla Sorensen’s writing, and her latest release, Forbidden, is VERY likely to make my Best of 2021 list. So I am definitely looking forward to her next book! The Lie is a standalone set in the same world as some of Sorensen’s previous books, so it’s the perfect time for new fans to check out her work. And the blurb sounds great! We’ve still got a month until The Lie releases, so if you want to get a feel for Sorensen’s writing, then I highly recommend Forbidden, which can easily be read as a standalone.
It takes a lot to rattle me, but nothing could’ve prepared me for the day that Aiden Hennessy walked through my beloved gym doors, ownership papers in his big hands.
