It was a 5-star kind of week! Some weeks I wonder if I’m being too critical, and some weeks it’s the opposite. Almost everything I read this week was 5-star worthy, and that includes a couple of upcoming releases that aren’t in this group. It was a great week! My two favorites feature men with scars on their faces, but that’s where the similarities end. I’ve been absolutely loving Jodi Ellen Malpas’ Unlawful Men series, and the newest installment was both suspenseful and super steamy. It made a great addition to a fantastic series, and I’m ready for more. I also loved the newest from Teagan Hunter, a fun play on Beauty and the Beast with a Vegas wedding twist. The newest from Lila Monroe was also light and sexy fun, perfect for bingeing. The only miss this week was Royal Valentine, a novella that left me very disappointed. The good news? February’s releases are looking great so far, and I’m digging into more ARCs this weekend!
