Those eyes are INTENSE! This promises to be a different side of Kristy Marie, and I’m all for it. While I’m still getting to know Marie’s work, I’ve loved the two books I’ve read from her so far. The Closer and Rebellious are both new adult, lighter reads – so this should be a bit darker for sure. She’s calling it a “grumpy-sunshine rom-dramedy,” so we shall see what that vibe entails.
