In case you missed it! There’s been some… ah, lively discussion… of this cover (and others) on social media, but I’m focused on how excited I am to read the book! This is Liese’s first with a major publisher, and I can’t wait to see what the vibe is like. I’ve been a big fan of her intelligent, unique Bergman Brothers series, and my love for her work continued with her holiday romance, The Mistletoe Motive (a Kobo Original). This one’s got so many great tropes, and I’m loving the sound of the blurb. Liese excels at writing original, authentic characters who fall hard – often with slow burn romances that bring the sexual tension. Two Wrongs Make a Right won’t be here until November, so you’ve got plenty of time to check out Liese’s work if you haven’t yet. Details and recommendations below!
Blurb:
Opposites become allies to fool their matchmaking friends in this swoony reimagining of Shakespeare’s beloved comedy, Much Ado About Nothing.
Jamie Westenberg and Bea Wilmot have nothing in common except a meet-disaster and the mutual understanding that they couldn’t be more wrong for each other. But when the people closest to them play Cupid and trick them into going on a date, Jamie and Bea realize they have something else in common after all—an undeniable need for revenge.
Soon their plan is in place: Fake date obnoxiously and convince the meddlers they’re madly in love. Then, break up spectacularly and dash their hopes, putting an end to the matchmaking madness once and for all.
To convince everyone that they’ve fallen for each other, Jamie and Bea will have to nail the performance of their lives. But as their final act nears and playing lovers becomes easier than not, they begin to wonder, what if Cupid’s arrow wasn’t so off the mark? And what if two wrongs do make a right?

While you wait!
Liese is best known for her Bergman Brothers series, and two of the books have made it on my Best of the Year lists (so far). The newest installment comes out in May, so now is the perfect time to check out the series if you haven’t yet. Each book follows a different member of the Bergman family, so you might enjoy reading them in order. I’ve been doing things backwards, and that hasn’t been a problem either! My personal favorites are Always Only You (reverse grumpy/sunshine) and Ever After Always (marriage in trouble).
