Teaser Thursday

It’s one of the busiest release weeks of the month, with lots of intriguing new romances! Lighthearted reads lead the way, though there’s something for every mood. I’ve read a few of these and have a few others on my TBR, so it should be a good week. Take a peek at some of the books releasing in the next week below!

June 17: Risky Business by Lauren Landish

Secrets are my life.
Perception is everything, and I’m extraordinarily good at helping my clients hide their dirt—until him.

Bad press about your latest movie flop? I can twist it.
Need to repair your image after an embarrassing walk of shame? I got you.
Reputation refresh? That’s me too.
But my latest client challenges me in ways I never anticipated.

Carson Steen.
The heir apparent at the center of a media firestorm that’s taking down his family’s amusement park kingdom.
I can help the drop-dead sexy, danger-loving, motorcycle-riding jerk… if he’ll let me.

I’m just trying to do my job. But his eyes follow me, his touch tempts me, and his honesty is so refreshingly hot I’m melting.

Falling for a client shatters all the rules, but the need feels undeniable. It’s a huge risk to love Carson, but is it riskier not to?

**Risky Business is a full-length romance with a HEA and no cliffhanger!

June 20: Big Wild Love Adventure by Julianna Keyes

After being ditched at the altar, Emmy Shaw’s heart, like her dented food truck, is definitely not open for business. Deeply in debt to her parents and evicted from her apartment, she takes a friend’s drunken dare and fills out an application for a new dating-adventure reality show. She never expects to be chosen—or to get a chance at the show’s huge cash prize, which could put her life back on track.

But when she’s abandoned in the middle of the jungle two months later wearing only a bathing suit and a backpack, she questions if being on the show might be even worse than the #emmytrashtruck hate brigade she left back home. Then she meets her fellow cast members—including sexy, inscrutable Wes—and starts to reconsider, wondering if maybe money’s not all she stands to gain from this experience.

After a year of abysmal failures, this summer of cave treks, jungle hikes, impromptu talent shows, and a sexy flirtmance turns out to be just the thing to help Emmy rebuild her shattered confidence. She signed up for the show to hide from the mess her life had become, but this escape from reality might be just what she needs to find herself.

June 21: Cinder-Nanny by Sariah Wilson

What could come between a nanny and an earl in a fairy-tale love story? A reality check—in an endearing and witty romance by Sariah Wilson, the bestselling author of Roommaid.

With her sister’s medical bills mounting, Diana Parker can’t say no to a high-paying opportunity like this: accompany a wealthy couple to Aspen and nanny their precocious five-year-old son for three months. Necessary qualifications? She must know how to ski and teach math, speak fluent French, excel at social graces, and hold a master’s degree in childhood development. Who’ll be the wiser that Diana’s only skill is packing for Colorado?

So far, so good—having a con woman for a mother has turned out to be a benefit, even if Diana has complicated feelings about telling lies. But she’s doing this for her sister. And the perks—like a ticket to a lavish charity fundraiser, a new gown, and a Prince Charming–adjacent earl named Griffin Windsor—are pretty irresistible. Diana can’t deny the Cinderella vibe.

Wary of gold diggers and scandal, England’s most eligible bachelor is nevertheless falling for Diana, and sweeping the not-quite princess off her feet.

The warmer their relationship becomes, the slipperier the slopes are for Diana. Sooner or later, she’ll have to come clean. When that happens, does an honest-to-goodness happy ending stand a chance?
