MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Remaining 2022 Releases

It’s almost the end of the year, but there are still some VERY exciting new releases on the way. December is a quiet release month, though there is a great mix of books from some of my favorite authors as well as some by authors whose work I’ve been meaning to try. It can be incredibly difficult to keep track of all of the new releases each month, so I’ve put together a calendar to help you manage your TBR. The following books are the ones that are on my radar – I’ll be reviewing MANY of these throughout the month, so keep an eye out for new reviews!

I’ve got the anticipated release date, blurb, and preorder links when available for each of the new romances that have caught my eye so far. There are sure to be many more books announced in the coming weeks, so look out for my New Releases and Teaser Thursday posts each week to see what’s coming soon.

If you want to see a more comprehensive list of preorders, take a peek at the bottom of this post – there are A LOT of other romances coming that just aren’t on my radar!

Nov 21: Tempt by Melanie Harlow

You’ve heard the story about the wedding planner who falls for the groom?

Well, this is the one where she falls for his father.

And that groom? He’s my ex.

I didn’t realize who the gruff, gorgeous older man was the night he rescued me from a creep in a Manhattan hotel bar. All I knew was that a hot, bearded stranger with a protective streak showed up right when I needed a reminder that real gentlemen still exist.

(Although he left his manners behind after asking me up to his room.)

It was the hottest night of my life, but I never thought I’d see the former Navy SEAL again.

Imagine my surprise at the rehearsal dinner one week later, when my sexy one-night stand is introduced as the father of the groom. Even more surprising? That temptation we felt in New York was no fluke.

In public, we pretend there’s nothing between us.

In private, we can’t keep our hands off each other.

The situation is beyond complicated. Zach never even knew he’d fathered a child until recently, and he wants to earn his son’s trust and respect. As for me, I’m looking for a man who wants to start a family, and Zach has made it clear he’s not that man. He’s fifteen years older, newly divorced, and he lives across the country.

But no matter how many times we draw the line, we keep crossing it.

Nothing so wrong should ever feel so right.

Nov 22: Two Wrongs Make a Right by Chloe Liese

Opposites become allies to fool their matchmaking friends in this swoony reimagining of Shakespeare’s beloved comedy, Much Ado About Nothing.

Jamie Westenberg and Bea Wilmot have nothing in common except a meet-disaster and the mutual understanding that they couldn’t be more wrong for each other. But when the people closest to them play Cupid and trick them into going on a date, Jamie and Bea realize they have something else in common after all—an undeniable need for revenge.

Soon their plan is in place: Fake date obnoxiously and convince the meddlers they’re madly in love. Then, break up spectacularly and dash everyone’s hopes, putting an end to the matchmaking madness once and for all.

To convince everyone that they’ve fallen for each other, Jamie and Bea will have to nail the performance of their lives. But as their final act nears and playing lovers becomes easier than not, they begin to wonder: What if Cupid’s arrow wasn’t so off the mark? And what if two wrongs do make a right?

Nov 22: One Bossy Date by Jolie Day

From fake date to fake fiancée to fake pregnancy. All in one night.
Who’s the guy? My grumpy boss.

It all started with a crazy idea: Ask a billionaire to be my fake date to my granny’s 77th birthday dinner.

The good news? I know a billionaire. A gorgeous one.
My new boss.
The bad news?
He’s moody, impatient, and grumpy.

Never did I think he’d agree to the ruse. With me—Zoe Jones: The owner of a failing cat shop.
But guess what? He said yes. Under one condition: I serve as a nanny for his two huge dogs (I’m terrified of dogs).

The date? It’s…a disaster.
I might have told everyone that we’re moving in together. And now they all think I’m pregnant.
To keep up the ploy, I move into his penthouse. That’s not all I do. I find myself purring in his bedroom. Exchanging mind-blowing kisses with him. Catching feelings.

I’m not sure what he wants for Christmas, but I hope it’s me.

Unfortunately, it’s all pretend, right? None of it is real. The only reason he agreed to keep the fake fiancée scheme going is because Mr. “No Relationships”—who’s moving back to South America soon—needs me to make his widowed mom happy.

Because she thinks I’m going to marry her son.
Now I lie awake at night and wonder: Could Anders Windham really be the one?

From USA Today Bestselling Author, Jolie Day, comes a new hot romantic comedy. It’s a scorching enemies-to-lovers, opposites-attract stand-alone romance set at Christmas time. It’s my honor to introduce you to grumpy, moody, and licking-lips hot billionaire and CEO Anders Windham and his sassy pet nanny, Zoe. Their romance starts innocent enough: They go on a fake date, get fake engaged, and pretend they are expecting a fake child. It’s a tale as old as time!

Nov 22: Scrooge-ish by L.B. Dunbar

I hate Christmas.
I don’t know who thought every female must love shopping, wrapping, baking, and hosting, but I’m missing the memo. On top of that, I manage a top-end department store. Sprinkle in the fact I’ll be turning forty during this holiday season, and my life is a Christmas cookie recipe gone wrong.

And every year I become a little more Scrooge-ish.

But the spirit of the most wonderful time of the year (insert sarcasm) seems to have a plan for me and my midlife crisis attitude.

First, my past returns when I attend a high school reunion happy hour and run into that boy—the one I had a summer fling with after graduation and before college—then promptly ghosted me.

The torture continues because that boy is now a man, worldly and wise and sexier than I remember. And he invites me to attend a holiday work party with him.

Which leads to my discovery that there is a lot more to this forty, fine, former NFL quarterback, now fireman, like being a single father to the sweetest little girl, putting me at risk of falling for both of them.

However, I have my reasons not to believe in love and the happiest time of the year. And the first twenty-five days of December tests all my strength.

Just what the Dicken is happening? Charles himself might approve of this plot.
Even I’m a little curious to see how it all plays out.

+ + +

With the past behind her and the future uncertain, can Eva Nazar accept that the present is a gift and love is the greatest treasure we receive even if it isn’t always wrapped in pretty paper with a perfect bow on top?

Find out in L.B. Dunbar’s first, over forty, flirty, sexy silver fox, second chance holiday romance.

Nov 28: The Grumpy Billionaire Who Stole Christmas by Erin McCarthy & Lili Valente

I’m a grump and proud of it. I hate forced cheer, pointless traditions, and the fact that everything in Jingle Bell Junction reminds me of my lonely teen years.

Which is why I decide to steal the town’s ridiculous Christmas tree topper and burn the peg leg—yes, a peg leg. I’ll be doing the town a favor by making Jingle Hell a slightly less embarrassing place to spend the holidays.

Then, sweet, generous, sunshine-y Holly Jo catches me in the act. Holly, whose smile has always melted my icy heart. Even when we were kids.

She ropes me into baking dog treats with her to make amends, when the power goes out and we’re snowed in together for the night.

Add in one roaring fire, an unexpectedly sexy reindeer costume, and some whipped cream, and suddenly my trip to Jingle Hell is turning into Jingle Hell Yeah…

But what happens when one night with this woman isn’t nearly enough?

Contents include a lonely businessman, a happy-go-lucky optimist in a reindeer costume, and all the holiday hijinks. This swoony romance is the first book in a series of interconnected standalones following the billionaire Ratcliffe brothers.

Wanting to get to know her, I convince them to move in with me for one month. I’m so angry with Vanessa and she seems to be equally upset. Every insult from her smart mouth invites me to engage. The brutal chemistry between us ignites old embers. I wish I could hate her. Instead, I want her.

But too much time has passed, and I fear some hurts run too deep to heal.
At the end of thirty days, I’ll have to let them go.

Dec 1: The Devil Gets His Due by Elizabeth O’Roark

An enemies-to-lovers, drunk-married-in-Vegas, accidental pregnancy romance between the grumpiest hedge fund manager and most irresponsible doctor you’ve ever met.

Keeley: Last January, I drunk-married my nemesis—hot, oversized geek Graham Tate. With no memory of how it came about, there was only one solution: run off before he woke up and pretend it didn’t happen. It would have worked perfectly if I hadn’t wound up pregnant.

Graham is the opposite of everything I want in a man—practical, disciplined, frugal—but living with him until the baby arrives has me wondering if, perhaps, I’ve been wanting the wrong things all along. And if that drunk version of me last January might have been onto something.

Graham: I never planned to have kids, and I certainly wouldn’t have planned on one with Keeley Connolly—a woman who does not believe in savings accounts or personal safety and thinks Lucky Charms is a health food because of the non-marshmallow bits.

A woman who also didn’t think twice about marrying me in Vegas and ditching me hours later.

I can’t wait to put this behind me and return to my careful, chaos-free life in New York. But the more time I spend with Keeley, the more I’m remembering the things that led me to marry her in the first place…and wondering if I can live without them when this ends.

Dec 31: Doctorshipped by Savannah Scott

I’m the absolute last remaining single woman in the entire town of Bordeaux.

Okay, maybe not the very last.
Just the last one with all her teeth, natural hair color, and the ability to remember where I set my keys.

I decided years ago that I’m going to remain single until my dying day.
I’ll infuse a new, hip meaning into the term “old cat lady.”
I don’t need a man.
I’ve got my bulldog, my cats and some of the best friends in the world.
My cup’s not half-full—It’s overflowing.

My man-free life is going along fine until the day I walk into my new job as a part-time tutor to the daughter of the new doctor in town. The sight of this man is making my skin tingle and my breath hitch, and something very much like butterflies are erupting in my stomach.
Butterflies!
I don’t do butterflies over a man.

My reaction doesn’t mean I need to change my stance on men. After all, Grant’s a broody, stern, cantankerous man. If I were going to start dating, it certainly wouldn’t be someone who obviously hasn’t smiled since he was forced to for school pictures.

But then his daughter walks in the room and his face lights up.
That smile. Who knew swooning was a real thing?
Still, I’m not dating. And that’s final.

Doctorshipped is a closed-door, small town romcom that will make you laugh out loud and give you all the feels. You can expect kissing scenes that might melt your kindle, but there are no explicit scenes.
