Tuesday may not be a very exciting release day, but Thursday is looking good! March has been a hit or miss release month, but several indie authors have books coming out just before the end of the month – and then things kick into high gear in April. So it’s probably your last chance to catch up on your TBR for awhile, lol, but there are also some intriguing books on the way.

March 28: The Playlist by Morgan Elizabeth
When Zoe’s best friend shows her the box of dreams they put together as kids, she would never have foreseen herself dumping Mr. Perfectly Fine and quitting her draining job. But when she looks in that box and realizes her life isn’t even close to where she envisioned she’d be when she was ten, she panics and implodes everything she knows.
When Zander Davidson realizes his little sister’s best friend is finally single at the same time he is, he knows it’s time. With the help of his sister (and her dad, AKA his boss), he makes a plan to become the king of her heart, including the road trip of a lifetime, and uses the Love Story Bucket List she made as a kid as his road map.Along the way, Zee convinces Zoe to play pretend with him, but can he mastermind his way into keeping her forever and always?
The Playlist is a contemporary childhood friends-to-lovers romance. It’s book five in the Springbrook Hills series, but it can be read as a standalone.

March 30: Rain Delay by Allie Marie
Lucas Abbot is finally ready to put on the breaks.
After a lifetime of privilege, Lucas is ready to make something of himself–for himself, by himself, without handouts, or the legacy of his father’s name nipping at his heels. And if everything goes as planned, he’ll get to do it with his best friend, Rachel, by his side.
Rachel Rowe is ready to spread her wings and take flight.
After growing up all over the globe with her nomadic parents, Rachel thought that she was finally ready to settle down. Finally ready to put on the brakes. Finally ready to tell her best friend, Lucas, how she really feels.
When work moves them both to Chicago, Rachel sees the opportunity to lay her heart on the line. But the second Rachel and Lucas sign a six month lease, heartbreak collides with her brand new roommate, and she watches all of those plans crumble at her feet in the middle of their shared living room. In light of her heartbreak, Rachel forms a new plan: take off the parking brake, live on the road again, and crush any feelings she has for Lucas beneath the tires as she goes.
But while Rachel is dead set on putting her best friend in the past, Lucas is more determined than ever to pick up the fragments and piece them back together.
After years of avoiding their feelings, and one fateful night that has tape lines drawn between them, a break for rain will either drown them, or be exactly what they need to repair the damage before the clock runs out.

March 30: Duke: Faking the Play by Kayley Loring & Connor Crais
#4 Callum Duquette. Placekicker for the Boston Tomcats. Former underwear model. NICKNAME: Duke.
I thought the most annoying thing about being a single dad was that my friends were always trying to find me a date. Until a sassy British ray of sunshine bumps into me at a bookstore. One accidental butt grab, a viral photo, and a lot of misunderstandings later, I find myself in a fake relationship with a movie star.
Now I’ve got my friends off my back, but the cheeky Brit has complicated my life even more.
She calls me the Duke of Grumpville.
I call her movies the end of civilization as we know it.
She calls my job “the wrong kind of football.”
I call her the one thing on Earth that can make me lose focus and control.
It’s getting harder to pretend I still want this to end after my team’s game in London.
I thought we were only faking it.
But getting to know the real Millie Darden changed everything.

March 30: A Reluctant Roommate by Angela Casella
I don’t have the hots for my roommate… If I say it enough times, will I believe it?
Drew
Some people might say I’m allergic to change. They’d be right.
I’ve lived in the same house my entire life, worked at the same company since I graduated from college, and hung out with the same three friends since middle school. If you think that sounds boring, you’re in agreement with my new roommate—my sister’s best friend, Andrea Ruiz.
Andy has always been a ball buster, a hell raiser…and she’s also the sexiest woman I’ve ever met. I let her move in because she was down and needed a place to stay, but she’s taking a hammer to my carefully constructed life.
Andy
My grandmother’s always told me I’m too impulsive for my own good. Should’ve listened to her, I guess. I posted a few (very tame) videos of my feet on a platform known for its racy content, and suddenly found myself homeless and out of a job. But Drew took pity on me and gave me a place to live, and now the Fairy Godmother Agency, a husband and wife P.I. team who thrive on anarchy, is offering me a job.
Drew’s so solid and reliable. I know my chaos is driving him crazy, but there’s a part of me that likes driving him crazy. I want to crack his shell. Because in the brief moments when he lets himself relax his rules, he’s surprisingly irresistible.

March 30: The Fastball by Megan Cousins
Amanda:
I hate flying. In fact, it terrifies me. But the cute stranger seated next to me on my first flight in five years helps calm my nerves and put me at ease. When I find out that he flips houses, it doesn’t take much convincing to ask if he’ll help me with the house I just inherited from my grandpa. It’s not easy for me to put my heart on the line, and I don’t know if I can take that plunge.
Again.
James:
There’s nothing quite like breaking through the clouds into bright blue sky, but my seat mate might disagree with me on that. She’s terrified. And I’m not going to let her go through this experience alone. When she asks if I can help with her house, of course I say yes. I’m intrigued and want to get to know her more. But when our shared past comes calling, I don’t know if I can risk my heart.
Please be aware that The Fastball includes brief, on-page depictions of PTSD/flashbacks as a result of James’ military service, and subsequent discussions of mental health. Therapy sessions are also depicted on-page. The Fastball also includes chronic illness representation in the form of food sensitivity and digestive disorders. This is a closed door, pen-pals to friends to lovers romance, with elements of found family and forced proximity. This is the third book in the Wild Pitches series, but can be read as a standalone.
