If your TBR isn’t crying yet, then it will be after next week! April has been a crazy busy release month, and the end of the month is no different. There are a ton of exciting new romances on the way, and I’m not sure where to start first! Take a peek at some of the books releasing in the next week below.

April 21: Stealing Home by Grace Reilly
I should be focusing on my game–not on falling for my gorgeous, grumpy roommate… especially since she’s already left me once.
Sebastian
It’s my final season to prove myself before the MLB Draft. The last thing I need is a distraction–and especially not one as tantalizing as Mia di Angelo.
She’s the drop-dead gorgeous astrophysicist-in-training who ditched me the moment I wanted to take us from casual to committed. Yeah. Ouch. But when she needs somewhere to stay for the summer… well. I offer her my place.
Being roommates shouldn’t be so hard. Not distracting at all. Not the least bit challenging…
Mia
I have two goals this summer: get into a study abroad program, and get over golden baseball god Sebastian Miller-Callahan.
Doesn’t mean it’s easy to stop thinking about him, but he deserves better than a prickly, career-focused girl like me. Our futures can’t be more different. The last thing I need is to play roommates with the only man who can set my body ablaze.
And all the feelings I’ve tried to pretend I never had? They come rushing back far too strong for either of us to ignore.
Stealing Home is a spicy new adult sports romance with reverse grumpy-sunshine, forced proximity/roommates, dual POV, and a guaranteed HEA. It is the third in a series of linked, yet standalone, novels in the Beyond the Play series.

April 24: The Hollywood Marriage Bargain by Lila Monroe
Fake date. Real trouble. Fall for a new trope-tactic, fake dating rom-com read from USA Today bestselling author, Lila Monroe! Perfect for fans of Tessa Bailey, Ali Hazlewood, and Emily Henry.
Jackson Kane is a hot Hollywood A-lister… and the first guy I ever loved. We spent a magical summer together ten years ago, but now he’s off dazzling on the red carpet, and I’m… up to my elbows in cranky plumbing, renovating my grandparents’ old B&B on Cape Cod. He’s the last man I’d expect to run into with a wet T-shirt and no bra (don’t ask) — until it turns out, he’s shooting his latest movie right here in Blackberry Cove.
And he wants me back.
There’s no way I’m getting swept up in his celebrity circus… until my bitchy cousin lays claim to our family heirloom engagement ring, and I need a fake boyfriend to beat her game. A handsome charmer with perfect acting chops… Now where can I find one of those…?
It’s supposed to be just for show, but Jackson is determined to show me our chemistry is just as strong as ever. And boy, is he impossible to resist. But between movie shenanigans, stroppy starlets, and – oh yes – the hoards of paparazzi suddenly trailing our every move, this fake date is more real than I ever imagined.
Can we find a way to take a second chance at first love? Find out in the hot & hilarious new romantic comedy from Lila Monroe!

April 25: Happy Place by Emily Henry
A couple who broke up months ago pretend to still be together for their annual weeklong vacation with their best friends in this glittering and wise new novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Emily Henry.
Harriet and Wyn have been the perfect couple since they met in college—they go together like salt and pepper, honey and tea, lobster and rolls. Except, now—for reasons they’re still not discussing—they don’t.
They broke up five months ago. And still haven’t told their best friends.
Which is how they find themselves sharing a bedroom at the Maine cottage that has been their friend group’s yearly getaway for the last decade. Their annual respite from the world, where for one vibrant, blissful week they leave behind their daily lives; have copious amounts of cheese, wine, and seafood; and soak up the salty coastal air with the people who understand them most.
Only this year, Harriet and Wyn are lying through their teeth while trying not to notice how desperately they still want each other. Because the cottage is for sale and this is the last week they’ll all have together in this place. They can’t stand to break their friends’ hearts, and so they’ll play their parts. Harriet will be the driven surgical resident who never starts a fight, and Wyn will be the laid-back charmer who never lets the cracks show. It’s a flawless plan (if you look at it from a great distance and through a pair of sunscreen-smeared sunglasses). After years of being in love, how hard can it be to fake it for one week…in front of those who know you best?

April 25: Game Changer by Piper Lawson
A steamy, grumpy sunshine sports romance featuring a woman down on her luck, a star basketball player with a filthy mouth, and a connection neither of them can deny.
After being dumped and losing my job the same week, the last thing my broken heart needs is a rebound.
I’m escaping across the country to help my perfect sister plan her dream wedding, and to prove to both of us everything is under control.
But a combination of tequila and turbulence on the flight there lead to word-vomiting all my troubles to the huge and handsome stranger in the first-class seat next to mine.
Only his whispered dirty diversions keep me sane until landing.
Despite the spark of attraction, we go our separate ways.
Or so I thought.
Turns out the tall, muscular, tattooed tower of a man from the plane is the star player on my future brother-in-law’s pro basketball team.
Clay is the last person I should gravitate toward. They’re called “players” for a reason.
Grumpy and cynical, he carries a weight on his shoulders I can’t possibly fathom.
He’s also the only one who knows my secrets and gets my heart racing.
The more we’re thrust together, the stronger the chemistry between us becomes.
Hooking up with the all-star athlete isn’t the way to get my life on track…but it could just be the game changer we’ve both been searching for.

April 25: Bear with Me Now by Katie Shepard
Love makes life a little wilder in this romantic comedy by debut author Katie Shepard.
After a panic attack puts him in the hospital, charity executive Teagan Van Zijl is dragged by his sister to a wilderness therapy retreat in Montana. Lost in the woods while absconding from midafternoon meditation, Teagan is nearly eaten by a bear before his rescue by a furious angel in muddy hiking boots: the program’s handywoman, Darcy Albano, who was mostly worried for the bear.
Darcy thought she was going to work as a trail guide when she was hired onto the camp staff but ended up cleaning and hauling instead—merely the latest screwing-over she’s endured since her ex stole her car and her parents ruined her credit score. Teagan becomes the silver lining she didn’t expect, a man clearly going through something yet willing to commit to Darcy’s unique brand of wilderness education as the cure for what ails him.
After weeks in the mountains with Darcy, Teagan doesn’t want to return to New York without her. He hires Darcy as his sober companion—a position he doesn’t actually need filled and for which Darcy is completely unqualified—hoping she can help him figure out a way to move forward. But once they get to the city, all Teagan can think of is how to confess the truth without losing her. Together, they begin to imagine what their lives might look like if they could depend on each other for help—even in outrunning a bear.

April 26: French Holiday by Sarah Ready
One (crumbling) French castle. Two enemies-at-first-sight. The holiday of a lifetime.
Merry DeLuca has a problem—a big problem. Her sister just married her best friend and the only man she’s ever loved. Her life is rapidly spiraling down the drain and she doesn’t have an escape plan.
So when Merry is offered a three-month holiday living in a romantic castle in the French countryside she leaps at the chance. Merry knows her French holiday will fix everything—there will be mouthwatering pastries, delicious (meaningless) flirtations, and languid strolls through vineyards at sunset. Her holiday will be perfect.
At least, Merry believes that until she arrives and finds Noah Wright—the best man at her sister’s wedding and the worst man she’s ever known—staying in her castle.
Famous travel documentarian by day and arrogant devil by night, Noah refuses to leave the castle. Which means that Merry and Noah are stuck together in France, in a crumbling castle, in a holiday where nothing goes right. Not for Merry and not for Noah.
So they strike a truce—they’ll live as cohabitating friends for three-months, and then they’ll amicably part ways, never to see each other again.
But the thing about friendship? Sometimes secrets are uncovered. Mysteries revealed. Hearts laid bare. And friendship can start to feel a lot like caring. A lot like love. It can even make you wish that the holiday never has to end.

April 27: King of Pride by Ana Huang
She’s his opposite in every way…and the greatest temptation he’s ever known.
Reserved, controlled, and proper to a fault, Kai Young has neither the time nor inclination for chaos—and Isabella, with her purple hair and inappropriate jokes, is chaos personified.
With a crucial CEO vote looming and a media empire at stake, the billionaire heir can’t afford the distraction she brings.
Isabella is everything he shouldn’t want, but with every look and every touch, he’s tempted to break all his rules…and claim her as his own.
***
Bold, impulsive, and full of life, Isabella Valencia has never met a party she doesn’t like or a man she couldn’t charm…except for Kai Young.
It shouldn’t matter. He’s not her type—the man translates classics into Latin for fun, and his membership at the exclusive club where she bartends means he’s strictly off limits.
But she can’t deny that, beneath his cool exterior, is a man who could make her melt with just a touch.
No matter how hard they try, they can’t resist giving into their forbidden desires.
Even if it costs them everything.
King of Pride is a steamy opposites attract, forbidden billionaire romance. It’s book two in the Kings of Sin series but can be read as a standalone.
Contains explicit content and profanity. Recommended for mature readers only.

April 27: The Bachelor by Marni Mann
A sexy, billionaire, forbidden, stand-alone romance from USA Today best-selling author Marni Mann…
Camden Dalton is notorious for three things: his command of the courtroom, his moves in the bedroom, and being the ultimate bachelor, never ever taking a woman home twice.
One drunken night, when Camden and I are accidentally left alone, we make a deal.
My proposition to him: if I don’t lose my virginity within the next year, he promises to take it.
But I don’t just want to do it.
I want to get filthy, dirty, rocked.
And I want to learn how to give as good as I get.
His rebuttal: four lessons on how to be an unforgettable lover. If I can make it through those without catching feelings, then we’ll move on to the fifth and final lesson, where all my naughtiest dreams will come true.
There’s only one problem.
Camden’s twin sister is my BFF.
And he’s forbidden to ever date any of her friends.
We just pray his sister won’t find out because what we’re doing is a whole lot more than dating.

April 27: Dough You Love Me? by Stacy Travis
First rule when returning to your hometown after storming out of sight: don’t fall for the guy who broke your heart.
Julia Browne should know better than to kiss where she bakes. She’s built a bread empire in California, and only plans to stay in Green Valley long enough to sell the family house.
She certainly won’t spend any more time with Shane Meadows than she has to…and she will not let him draw her in with his soft blue eyes or level her with his handsome smirk of a grin.
The last thing she wants is a temporary gig at Donner Bakery, baking sourdough side-by-side with Shane and clashing with his ego. And he thinks the sassy baker should take her fancy bread and go back where she came from.
But that’s before they take a series of wrong turns on a road trip to look at wheat, leaving them stranded for the night. Out on the open road, neither of them can escape the sizzling attraction and old feelings that feel a lot more real this time around.
But life is complicated, and Julia’s life in California might derail their second chance at love. Will they wake up and smell the sourdough?

I’m definitely looking forward to King of Pride! I listened to the audiobook of Happy Place already, and it was fantastic. Super heavy and angsty at times, but very good.
